This is a 4-Week Course, which will guide you through the fundamentals of filming with a camera and mastering essential lighting techniques. You will learn how to operate a camera and how to use it effectively while filming.
Students will receive a certificate on completion. This practical, hands-on course provides students with professional-grade experience in our media training studio.
Course Curriculum
Week 1
Intro to Camera & Lighting
Focus on seeing yourself on camera, noticing light sources, experimenting with light panels, and mastering ISO, Aperture, and Frame Rate basics.
Week 2
Developing camerawork
Hands-on skills: turning the camera on, lens attachment, recording, focusing, and zooming while utilizing props and lighting for impact.
Week 3
Film & Dynamic Lighting
Discover how color and light transform mood. Explore red, warm, blue, and harsh white lighting with practical shot examples.
Week 4
Techniques & Angles
Apply common shot types and camera angles to create your own cinematic scenes using the techniques mastered throughout the course.
