Scriptwriting & Storyboarding
Learn the art of the screenplay. Writing, revising, and visualizing your story with professional storyboards.
Week 03
PRE-PRODUCTION
Casting & Production Design
Setting the stage with costume, makeup, and scouting locations. Understanding how visuals tell a story.
Week 04
PRODUCTION
Camera & Sound Foundations
Hands-on training with professional cinema cameras and boom mics. Mastering lighting and framing.
Week 05
PRODUCTION
Directing & Performance
Learn how to communicate with actors and manage a crew. Working on set etiquette and directing techniques.
Week 06
PRODUCTION
Shooting: Principal Photography
Action! Heavy production week focusing on non-linear filming and ensuring continuity on set.
Week 07
PRODUCTION
Special Effects & Makeup
Diving into SFX makeup and on-set practical effects to add high-production value to your film.
Week 08
POST-PRODUCTION
Editing & Visual Storytelling
First cuts and assembly. Learning non-linear editing software to piece the narrative together.
Week 09
POST-PRODUCTION
Sound Design & VFX
Adding layers of sound, music, and digital visual effects to polish the final cinematic experience.

THE SCREENING
Final Premiere & Celebration
The big moment! A showcase screening for friends and family to see your finished short film on the screen.
